For Australian glaziers, residential and commercial

We help Australian glaziers see every job clearly.

Every job on one screen, and what each one actually made. Built on the systems you already pay for, live in 30 days.

The board

Every job on one screen.

The job map, turned into one screen your whole week reads from. It fills itself from the systems you already run, and it's yours, in your colours, not ours. On the wall in the office, in your pocket on site. Tap a card to see where it lives.

Ask it from the ute, the way you'd ask the office.

It reads your job system, your inbox and your accounts, so the answer is already there when you ask. Nothing to type in, nothing to look up.

Example views with invented jobs and figures. Harbourline Glass isn't real. Yours reads from your own systems.

The problem

Where most of your week goes.

1

The hard part is staying on top while I work.

Owner-operator, on quoting between jobs
See what it costs

What it costsThe two hours a night you spend catching up, because the answer lives in somebody's head and they've gone home.

What changesOne screen, every job, what stage it's in and how long it's been there. You read it between jobs, not at the kitchen table.

2

It's rarely one big thing. It's small leaks everywhere. Quotes sitting too long, jobs not confirmed properly. It all adds up.

Trade business owner
See what it costs

What it costsA quote sitting nine days unchased is a job somebody else wins. Work finished weeks ago and never invoiced is where commercial margin dies.

What changesEvery quote out, how long it has waited, and whether anyone has chased it. Installed and unbilled becomes a list, not a memory.

3

Spreadsheets, whiteboards, and a glovebox full of paper. That's not a system, that's a memory test.

What it costsA 3 that became an 8 somewhere between the quote and the order, and the remake that followed. Toughened glass can't be altered after tempering.

What changesQuote, job, order and invoice read from one record. Nobody types the same job into three systems.

4

I'll order like five things at once. I'm not remembering every single one of those things that I've ordered for that job.

Glazing business owner
See what it costs

What it costsA panel that never arrived, found on install morning. A fresh ten to fourteen day lead time, and a second visit.

What changesEvery outstanding order on one list, read straight out of the mailbox. Anything past its lead time says so before the van leaves.

Recognise one of these?

Bring that job to the call. We'll walk it from measure to invoice and find where it went quiet.

Jamie Guerrieri

CEO and founder of Umbral Vision

Ten years running teams that were trusted with the money up front and held to results agreed in writing. What held those results was never people trying harder. It was the process behind them. That's what I bring into a glazing business.

The first two weeks are spent getting to know yours. How a job actually moves from the first call to the invoice, who touches it along the way, and where it drops. You get a one-page map of all of it before anything gets built. From there, I work with the tools you already pay for, so your job system, your inbox and your accounts report to each other and do the remembering for you.

Once it's live, it stays under review. Every month it's measured against your real jobs and adjusted as your business changes. Handover is where the work starts paying, not where it ends.

The Umbral Vision way.

First, discovery. Ninety minutes with you, and read access to your job system, your inbox and your accounting file. That's your whole part. From there, you approve and I build.

Before you book

The questions I get asked before the first call.

Do you only work with glaziers?

Glaziers first, because that's where the work I've done sits. But the fix is the same for any trade or service business that quotes a job, does it and invoices it.

Plumbers, electricians, air conditioning and HVAC, builders and construction companies, joiners, shopfitters, roofers, landscapers, fencing and pool companies. If your week is spent asking where a job is up to and what it made, we should talk.

What does "every job on one screen" actually mean?

One board with every job you've got running. What stage it's in, how long it's been sitting there, what's late, and once it's live, what each finished job actually made against what you quoted.

It reads from the systems you already use. Nobody types anything into it.

Which systems do you work with?

The ones you already pay for. Job management like ServiceM8, Tradify, simPRO, AroFlo, Fergus, Ascora and Buildxact. Glass-specific ones like Smart Glazier and GlazierSoft. Accounting in Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks. Your inbox in Gmail or Outlook, WhatsApp, and the spreadsheet you built yourself.

I don't replace any of it. I get it reporting to one place.

Do I have to change the software I already use?

No. The first two weeks are spent writing down how a job really runs in your business, from the first phone call to the invoice. Everything gets built on top of what's already there.

If something does need replacing, you'll hear it from me on the call, with the reason, before anything starts.

Will my team have to type things in or fill out timesheets?

No. That's the rule the whole thing is built on. Nothing I build asks anyone to log, tag or update something by hand.

If it did, they'd stop within a fortnight and you'd be back where you started.

How long does it take?

Ninety minutes of your time at the start. By day 14 the board is live with your real jobs on it. By day 30 you can see what each job made.

After that it's kept running month by month, and we add to it as you're ready. There's no rush to do everything at once.

What does it cost?

Two lines. One to build it, and one each month to keep it running and keep adding to it. You'll have both numbers on the first call, before anything starts, and they won't move halfway through.

Everything that gets built lives in your business and stays yours.

Where are you based, and do you work outside Melbourne?

Melbourne, and across Australia. Nearly all of it happens on a call and a screen share, so the business can be anywhere in the country.

Got one that isn't here? Send it on WhatsApp, the green button in the corner.

One way in

Bring the job that's doing your head in.

Thirty minutes on a call. We'll walk it from the first phone call to the invoice and find where it's leaking. If the fit isn't there, you'll know in the first ten minutes.
